What needs to be done to get exhaust to work in EG with B18C??
Im thinking about getting a RSR cat-back but I know the JDM GSR engine's manifold is too short to reach the cat. Do i just need to drive it to a exhaust shop and have them weld in an extension?? Thanks!

is there a certain exhaust manifold for a b-series that doesn't require that?

It's funny, but the GS-R is the only B-series that requires the extension of the EH/EJ/EG exhaust.
Just extend the exhaust - simple enough to add the 3-4 inches you'll need.

Will a factory b-16 exhaust manifold make up the difference? I have a brospeed header that i bought and a Greddy Power Extreme exhaust, and a aftermarket cat. I know with this setup, the car will need the extension. Does anyone know if a b-16 manifold will make up the difference? And restrictive is the b-16 manifold verses the gsr manifold or header? Joe
