i dont have the relay thats supose to come with it...but if i turn when the blinekrs turn on...wouldnt that happen when im on the highway? that **** would be annoying as hell. I had a friend suggest i wire it up to the brights since well..both are there to provide more light...but im not trying to sound like a jdm *****...i just want it "european spec" none of that dumb ****...like you see civics rideing around with side markers that stay on...thats annoying. I hope you guys get what im trying to say? Anyhow...i wouldnt wanna wire them to the blinkers..those bitches are BRRRIIIIGGHTTT =/
****, that is a nice bumper. That is what I lost when I was in the accident a while back. I can't find another with those side lights, what did it come off of ?

Defeats the purpose of the 'intersection light'.
I would just wire it to an independent switch or somehow to your blinkers to when your blinker is on it stays on and when your blinker is off its off.

you know alot of ford thunderbirds and taurus', older buicks etc. come with that exact same setup...you could always go to a junkyard and try to find the necessary relay there. since there are quite a few of those cars on the road...

In Japan these are called CLEARANCE LAMPS, yes they are supposed to come on when you are turning only because in Japan the frickin roads are so small that you need to see every inch in the night, along with kids, pedestrians, bikes and motorcycles that dont care that you are trying to turn, you hit them, they get paid the big bucks.
You can run a relay from the power side of your blinker relay, remember that your blinker gets power all the time that the turn signal switch is in the left or right turn mode, then the blinker cuts the power to flash the amber lights, this is called ground side control. You can tap into the power side but I recommend this be the coil portion of your added relay only and run a seperate fused power switched side for your new clearance lamps.
Of course you will need some electrical skills for this, sorry I have not learned how to post pics on this site yet.

I have a set of those lights including everything you need to wire them up to work. If you're interested PM me, I wanna get rid of them.
Nice bumper
I'm pretty sure those lights are on some kind of timer,so when you hit your turn signal they come on and stay on,they don't flash, and then a few seconds after your turn signal cuts off, they go off.My brothers old 85 Maxima done that anyway. That way you can see the corners really well.Just my .2

hit up radio shack or autozone for two relays and some wire its real simple to do or go to a car audio shop they should have every thing youll need and they should be able to tell you how to wire the relays good luck!
