Default motor will not start!!!

M b16a obd0 motor will not start. At first I was not getting spark. I saw that the person before me did not use the right dizzy. So i bought the right b16a distributor and now i am getting spark but my motor will still not start. Does my rotor have to be pointin towards the number one spot? I need to check if i am getting fuel but how do i do that? I waws also told to check my main relay. Where and what is that? I just bought the car and I had it running for two days and now it has been sitting for a week which isnt long but still I want my car back on the streets! Any help or suggestions would be mch appreciated!

english isn't your first language is it. =D but you're right on track vteckillenzc!

You have spark, great - now find out if you have fuel

Then find out if your distributor is firing at the correct time.
Does it backfire atall? (excess fuel igniting too late to be effective)

I'm assuming it's cranking over and your battery is fine.
When you turn the key to the on position, do you hear a humming coming from the center of the car? That's your fuel pump priming. If you don't hear that, you probably don't have any fuel pressure and that would be the cause.

The idiot who had the car before me wired the fan into the ignition so when I turn it ot the on position I could not really tell. Me and my buddies took the fuel rail apart to see if fuel was getting through the injectors. They were. So we had fuel and spark but still nothing. It had to be the timing so we messed with my distributor and still nothing. We didnt think about making the gears TDC since it would have been random. Well my timing was off alot, like 6 teeth. Crazy thing it the timing belt was tight, and the belt and gears still had all their teeth. Whatever, but thanks for everyones help!
