I talked to a guy and he said that if i run about 7 psi daily, with a turbo on a stock engine, that my car will only last me a month, i drive on average 25 miles per day, is that true. Plus he said that i wont be able to go on the highway and drive at high speeds like 100+, is that tru too? Please let me know, and also whats the best turbo for my car in order for me to get the best 1/4 times. if you could name some good brands off the stuff you listed and give me an approximate price thatd be great, which turbo would i get the best 1/4 mile, and last the longest with, drag, revhard, or fmax, someone told me those are one of the best.

The guy who told you this is a moron. A nice turbo set up will cost you about $4000 with all of the goodies.
less than that. DragII kit. Talk to DragII here on H-T. He runs his own little business.
LOL... look, we could all talk about how much it COULD cost. My turbo setup will be MUCH more than that... but I'm sure this guy doesn't feel like going to the extremes I usually go to.

Um... ok. Sleeving: $1000.
Pistons: $550. JE or Arias
Rods: $400 Eagle. My suggestion is Crower or Saenz: $600+
Head: Portflow. $1000+ valve train. Another $700-$1200 depending on what you want.
You can spend as much or as little as you like.
How Fa$t do you want to go?

i think ive gotten my plan, im going to use the money i saved up for a turbo, fully build my motor instead, then down the road get a turbo. i want to run mid 13's all motor, and then mid 12's with the turbo
That is not going to work unless you plan on swapping pistons, since the pistons you use for 13's all motor will not be at all compatible with turbo.

why would i have to do that? If i get really good forged pistons like from je or arias, then why wouldnt they be compatible with a turbo
