somwhere in the low 11's would be my choice...some will say you can run as high as 12 but my friends is around 11.3-11.5 and so far his runs great on 93...

You should be talking to your tuner about that then. But like i said, i think you can run low 12's c/r on pump. Do you have the rest of the set-up complete?

If you want to run that ratio I would suggest ctr pistons. They will put you almost at that and they are cheap. Thats what I ran in my old b16a2.

edit: I was also able to run it on 91 octane untuned. In fact I traded the car in and left the pistons in the engine. I never told the delearship and it ran fine and passed smog. I just hope the new owner doesn't try to run 87 because the engine will not last long.

is this motor going into a small gutted car like a hatch or a crx?? just asking because running mid 12's with slicks in a 81.5mm bore b16a with c/r only in
the 11's running on 93 octane seems like a very hard task to accomplish. i'm not saying that a b16a powered car cant run mid 12's, but i dont think 81.5mm bore
and mid 11 comp ratio will get the job done. if i were you i would go with a bigger motor like a gsr or ls/vtec, or stroke the b16 and have it professionally built.
