Default tuning???

i've been thinking about purchasing some skunk2 stage 2 camshafts and want to know that, can i jsut put them on and expect gains??? or do i have to get it tuned?? and how would i go about tuning them do i need to buy a stand alone???? i'm confused here.

tuning would be recommended, or you're probably not going to see much. Stage 2s might even be a little much on a stock compression GSR. You'd be overcamming your motor. A set of cam gears would be recommended, and at least a piggy back fuel computer like a Apexi S-AFC. But some hondata would be awesome, and the gains you saw from the tuning alone would feel good. To tune it you would need to go to a dyno and have them tune it for you.

okay so would skunk2 stage 2 cams, with the valvetrain, CTR pistons, header, exhaust, cam gears, SAFC be a good setup??? and can i tune it with a p28 that has a skunk2 program?? or do i have to get hondata or uberdata??? and i tried searching but just skunk2 cams, but more skunk2 vs......

I do not recommend running the safc...
Look into uberdata, crome, hondata etc.

a friend of mine was showing me uberdata and how to tune with it and it looks fairly easy and its really cheap too
