ok, i've been thinking about getting a stage 1/2 clutch, or just an upgrade from stock for my 95 civic (either exedy, act, or clutchmasters)
i want a flywheel to match..
my question is: its my daily driver, i dont want too light of a flywheel, but i was wondering what a good all around flywheel for my case would be? i dont want anything extreme...

also, what is a decent brand or your favorite brand for a flywheel?

i have searched this but have not found a specific answer, thanks

 

i have always bought clutchmasters everything.... never had a problem.. u can get the stage 1 clutch for 2 sumthin and an aluminum flywheel with replaceable gear ring and surface ring for 299

 

what weight flywheel do you have?
still wondering what weight i should get, not looking for anything race style, just something a little more grippy than my stock

 

I've been looking at getting Exedy clutch. I've heard that they're who makes all of Honda's OEM clutches. Can anyone confirm this?

For your application, this is what I would choose. I have had great success with ACT and will continue to ***** their name out b\c they just make some fricken good stuff! Street lite weighs 12lbs.

Yes its true. Daikin clutch actually makes the exedy clutches and the spoon ones. You can expect oem quality with the exedy. exedy gets a from me.

An after-market flywheel isn't necessarily going to be "more grippy" than a stock unit (that's the clutch's job), so if that's the only reason you're shopping for one, I'd suggest saving some money by sticking with stock.
