Default Alternator Dying?

Its seems like my alternator is dying and I just want to confirm it before I get the new one.

So this is what happens....

I need to boost my car to start. Its runs good when I'm driving but as soon as I idle for too long, it dims and cuts off. Also if I add anything to the electrical system (i.e. headlights, radio, AC) the car slowly dims till it cuts off again.

I start it again to remove the negative from my battery, it dies again.

I replaced my alternator about 2.5 years ago, but I never replaced my battery (the past owner said they just it in) or my dizzy. I had recently changed the plugs and wires too.

So the million dollar question is: Is it my alternator?

Thanks.

JACKPOT....

Take it to Autozone to get it test.
Might want to test your battery while you are at it....

Where my money....
