This is on a first gen B16.

experiences, results, impressions, worth it? what would be recommended as far as the throttle body is concerned, use ITR, bore out stock one?

Just thinking about what I should do right now before putting the B16 back together. Thanks

 

I don't know if its worth a gain, but it's certainly easier to put it on when it's outside the engine bay.

 

We got mine in without major issues... you'll need a short bolt pattern IACV, or just use one bolt and tighten the **** out of it That worked for me until I found the right style one in the parts bin,... which was about 6 months, no idle issues.

I put on a 2nd gen JG overbored to 64mm Throttle Body, and got intake manifold and Throttle Body used off a turbo car that was parted out as a package for <you can hate me now> $225

We tapped the stock map port on the OBD1 throttle body and just made a vacuum port out of it for my map sensor signal.

Here's a closeup with another piece we used when the tapped one started to mess up... I think we got this piece from FMAX... not sure.
