Default d series turbo?

Looking to boost a d series. what motor is good to run a turbo on and how much boost is normal? answers will be helpfull thanks

I used a z6/b7 on my project i need to get it tuned soon but i also used the apexi kit. But good luck on your build mang.

But for a stock motor the Z6 and Y8 are the best i think.

how ever much boost it takes to yield about 200whp on a stock internal motor.

For the turbos listed above you can get 200whp with about 10psi

i'm puttin 200 to the ground at about 7psi. smaller turbos will require higher boost levels.

I'm running 15 psi with a small T3 and turboedit. No power numbers, only track times.

15psi on stock internals? How long have you been running this setup? and any 1/4 times? I see the 1/8 times on your sig

It's a stock Y8 block/Y7 head with a Cometic headgasket and ARP studs.
The car was put together by us in June of 2004 and has been running 13+ lbs with an afc setup.
I recently got it back a couple months ago and switched it to TurboEdit and adjusted the boost a little.
1/4 mile times will be in August when the track opens back up.
We're going to the 1/8th mile tonight to see if we can better the time.
