noob to turbo please help
i have searched first off
i have a b16a in my 90 hatch completely stock internally for now i will be putting a 75 shot to it next week.
but iwant a turbo bad,
my questions
i want a turbo kit or to piece one thogether that will work great with a stock motor 11lbs. max but i also want to be able to grow with the kit like somthing effeciaent to 20 lbs. later on.
i was looking at peak boost but then i found the top mount turbo setups.
does anyone have dyno charts to show the difference between ram horn style and top mount style manifolds. i just don't know wich i want and if one is better than the other. thanks

... you just haven't serached enough
If you want a lot of power later on then you'll need to build your own kit or go full-race and spend the money. Find out what size injectors and IC and turbo and Downpipe and etc etc etc....you can find all this with other setups that made nice power....try searching Boosted-hybrid's "big" cars or MASE's "big" cars...you'll see there setups and you'll get an idea

dude slow down.....
You should just build your own basic kit for now. You should aim for ~200whp maximum for your first setup. 200 whp is gonna feel really fast if you've never had a turbo especially in a hatch. 300whp is gonna get you wrapped around a tree, I don't think you realize how little traction you're going to have at 300+whp. I don't think anyone here has started out with over 300 hp for their first turbo setup.
good luck and read read read.

i know what you mean my freinds hatch dynoed 293 after 20 or so pulls and it was like 95 degrees out the day so i know i shouldn't expect traction till 4th gear i just meant those are my expectations on my stock motor i was plaining on a dual stage boost controller 5 or 6 daliy driving and 11 at the strip

Yeah 335hp feels crazy on the street. If your not use to the force it feels like you cant see.Its like a drug and you just want more cause you get immune to it real fast. When you launch too hard it feels like the ground is ice.I dont know which one I like better torque or horsepower they both feel good.
