yep same idea. Its pretty much an adapter/extension/external wastegate flange all-in-one.

I've thought about this type of design before except for a tubing or round type material in between the flanges. Good job!

Thanks for the props guys, haven't built it yet though. maybe someone can take the design and build it themselves.

I might be interested in buying this. I have a t3 waiting to be mounted to a greddy manifold.

Does anyone make an adapter? I dont think bmcrace does.

i dont believe hes made it yet. this was just an idea he drew up.
i have only seen 1 adapter plate on a greddy manifold (sohc) and it was to put a 14b on it i believe.

i wanted to make one of these myself, but im sticking to the tiny 15g and upping the boost.

the actual adapter will cost $50-80.

Does the greddy manifold combined with a T3 clear AC?

looks like a well thought out idea.

Q: how much will the adapter relocate the larger t3? and will this effect the kits ic piping, oil return, ac/ps clearence issues?

I never made it. It was just an idea I thought of when I was bored at work. I'm no engineer or machinist, just a home mechanic/ hobbyist. I grew up with legos/technic sets so **** like this always pop up in my head

I tuned a car with it, that adapted a real mitsu 18g to a greddy manifold. Had a tial wastegate in between. It worked out very well, but had problems with boost spikes when rolling into boost real hard. But if you eased into it, it would hold perfect.
