Oil Pan problem on B20A5
Do you have to pull motor on a '90 Prelude Si, B20A5, or can you just drop the pan? My car is too damn low and I punctured it , is there any skidplates available or something to protect the pan?

Weld could help for the time bein; but pretty much your just out of luck. Get a used one from a wrecking yard and clean the hell out of it. Use a dremel tool to file the orginal gasket off, then replace and use "gasket glue". You will need to lift your car to have this done.
raise the car. Ask member Black Light what happens to 91 Ludes that are hammered... his oil pan got bent, and blocked the oil pickup... took less than a week for the oil starvation to take it's toll.
Also, you can drop the pan easily. It just requires removing the header downpipe.

yeah, what JG said. raise the sob. when i hit mine, it broke the oil pickup since they're SOO close together. I'd advise checking the pick up when you remove the oil pan.
actually, in order to get that oil pan off, you will need to take off the cross member that runs from the front of the car to the rear of the car - you will see what i mean when you look under the car. other than that, those are the only two things that should be in the way.
