Default Head gasket type s...

I am running 11:1 compression in my h22a1: type s pistons, I was wondering and there for searching, if there are any manufactures that provide a thinner headgasket, to up the compression a bit more, and still be on the safe side....Im already tuned, but am using cams....thanks

If you are going to go through all the trouble to pull the head then you might as well go with flat faced valves and mill the head .020" that would probably get you into the 12's for compression... Othewrwise you can pull the middle layer out of the OEM HG and it will increase your compression marginally.

Cometic can build you a thinner one or you can ask Brian at Prospeed.

if your staying stock bore, i've had great results with stock HGs with the middle layer pulled out. if you need a bigger bore then i'd go cometic, both great HGs

Is the stock bore size for 97-01 Prelude 87mm?

What about HG thickness?

skunk2 and rev and i think supertech all make flat faced vlaves, and as far as if u need springs/retainers or not, that depends on what cams your running and how of a redline ur gonna take it.

compress gasket thickness = 0.26" = OEM thickness?

Stock bore is 87mm? any advantages or having oversize bore at all?

Displacement... But you need to sleeve your block for that... Unless you only want .25mm extra... Do some searches on overboring H-Series and FRM....

ok so.. perhaps just using a HG with standard bore size(87mm) with thinner dimension..

is the more thinner HG the better?
