I recintly purchased a 96 3.5RL and the radio didnt work the radio powers you can

tell it's getting (it lights up) but it wont turn on also i was wondering if these cars

came with a key pad for an alarm or if that would be aftermarket because if i dont

open it from the passenger side the lights flash on/off.

(ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED THANKS IN ADVANCE)

so it doesnt say code or anything on the little screen if u try powering it up? I would either try disconnecting the battery and taking out the backup fuse or remove the radio and make sure everything is plugged into the back of the thing. Good luck.

 

yea it dosent say code and when i tried it with a new stock radio it didnt say code on that one either.

possibly it may have a stock amplifier and it has gone bad....does the radio seem to function properly but yet you hear no sound at all?
