question #2... it depends on the condition of the motor. Search because this has been covered.

I T off the vacuum line that goes to the FPR. Seemed as good as any. As long as it reads the boost right.

I agree w/ Sack Master w/ the Fuel Pressure Regulator vacuum source. I wouldn't recommend over 240hp to wheels on stock B18C1 bottom end. Rods can handle it. The ring lands can't. That is the most common failure w/ the B16A,1,2,3's and B18C1, is the ring lands from the compression ring-to-second ring.
Common complaints w/ this failure is excessive blow-by. I mean excessive. On couple of them, I unscrewed the oil fill cap and just set it over the hole in the valve cover. Yeah, the cap would be blown over w/ any slight of a rev.
I have seen 265hp and 200ft-lbs on stock bottom B18C1, but longevity is unknown. It really does depend on the turbo kit also. The kits that always broke ringlands were Drag Gen III and Rev Hard, pretty much use the same turbo--- T3/T4 hybrid. Reason being, is the turbo came on like a nitrous shot. Basically, no boost, no boost, no boost and then like 50-70hp to wheels gain within 500rpm---on the dyno.
Just my .02 and a half cents.

from what ive seen...300 to the ground is starting to really test the motor's lifespan.
one important aspect to remember is tuning is a very important factor. maybe the drag kits were causing issues because there is no ems. you cant just throw on an fmu, some injectors, and a pump and cross your fingers.

im shooting for 300 on a gsr, thicker headgasket and some arp's

oh yeah...and the factory fpr is good

yeah 240 seems too low of a number, seen quite a few stock b18c's in the forced induction forum with 300 whp. Then again like he said, theres too many factors which contribute to this.
