Default 91 Ls in 90 hatchback... weird vibration.

I recently got a 90 hatch wit ls. The clutch is dead like no other.. its old as hell. Also I can hear the throw out bearing spinnin very loudly in the tranny. Sometimes when I drive either just taking off from first or if i accelerate while in gear I get a really loud vibration. Its only sometimes I get this though.. at time the car will feel fine at others it will start shakin like a ****.. its not the wheel balanced cuz I just got new tires today and it did it before. I was wondering that if the clutch is burnt out enough or if the throw out bearing is worn enough.. Will it cause a vibration like that? Anything I should check? I check the axles tranny all the bolts. Control arms. everything is in good shape.

Check engine mounts, but assuming they are new poly mounts, they should be fine. Anything on the drivetrain that is out of balance can cause outward forces, which in turn could possibly shake the engine. Something in the tranny could possibly be damaged or causing the engine to be out of balance. If you plan on removing the tranny to replace the clutch anyways, this may be a good chance to take a look at whats going on. Tranny drop/clutch/reinstall should take 4-5 hours for somewhat experienced and well tooled person.

Well I ordered the clutch anyway and planned on doing that.. I just wanted to make sure if theres anythig else I should check so I dont just replace the clutch put it all back together and still have the problem.
