hey guys whats up, i bought a car in NJ and it has the inspection sticker on it and it says it passed, do i have to redo the inspection in NY, or can i just use the inspection from NJ till it expiers??

 

Id just use it until it expires. I dont think it will effect anything but im not quite sure.

 

look what i found guys i guess u can use NJ inspection sticker in NYS until it expires
"If your vehicle has a valid inspection sticker from the previous state of registration, you can continue to use the out-of-state inspection sticker. You can use the out-of-state inspection sticker until it expires, or until one year from the date of registration in NYS, whichever comes first. At that time, you must have the vehicle inspected in NYS."

Inspection?? Why would you want that I haven't had an inspection on my '97 in 3+ years. Its pointless. If you never get stopped (which I don't), no one will ever know

If you get stopped then you get a ticket. I got caught the other day.
