Default new hidden muffler..

i got really tired of the ugly RSR hanging off the back of my car. i decided to ditch it in favor of a universal 2.5" magnaflow muffler. i used an old worn out trust muffler as the donor for the piping and then welded on the small turn down. i like it, its a bit louder than the rsr but it looks much better. great upgrade for $70

brand new rsr...

painted black rsr...

magnaflow...

Ugly RSR muffler???????? I think you crazy!!!! That muffler is one of the better looking mufflers you can find. It does not look like a big fart can and it is not that loud, clean and stock looking.

I do like the turn down tip you are using. That would help keep my rear bumper a bit cleaner.

Here is a pic of my Buddies Sleeper muffler. It's a Vibrant Performance Flat Black Muffler..I think they have 2.25", 2.5" and 3" and they are full stainless steel. It sounds SICK!

Thanks man! The black angle cut outlet tip is fresh on its own and the cops don't even notice it.

i like the muffler how you have it. I just dont know how much better that is than just a normal canister. i prefer to see an N! style canister vs nothing.

honestly.. i think an N style canister doesnt look too bad, but its just not my taste and the law around here doesnt seem to care for them either. Even with my RSR i would always get looks or comments about it from the cops. Now with the magnaflow, even though its louder, i get no looks anymore

you can get it custom made, or use a donor muffler like i did. I took a friends old Trust muffler he had on his 97 EX coupe. Chopped off the muffler, shortened the piping and welded on the magnaflow.

You could try kteller or someone similar, they might have a axle back piping section.
