Default Lowering my Accord

Alright, so i want to lower my '95 Accord 4 door. I'm sittin on 215/45/17 and i want to know what springs I should buy. All i want to do is get rid of wheel gap in the wheel well. I dont want my ride SLAMMED just looking clean. Any suggestions? I was thinking 1.5" but if some one has seen an accord lowered and looked clean and not ricey, let me know. Thanks

get some coilovers so that you can set them to the height you'll like. I put some APC Ebay coilovers on for a friend and I swear they ride perfect with stock struts ( really surprised me after we took it for a ride). Not too stiff and not too soft, just right. Or you can get ground controls for 200.00

I like the Eibach's I put on my car not to long ago... they are the sportlines... nice clean drop and not extremely low like my old h&r race springs.

Basically, i dont want my wheels to go into the wheel well, jus a clean, even look. I jus dont know if 1.5 would be better or 2. I know its personal opinion. Does the weight of the car have anything to do with how low the springs make it? Like, if i got springs that claimed 1.5, could it actually be a little lower? Basically, im stuck and im just brain storming out loud....

sportlines will give you a 1.7/1.8 drop. had them on my 97 accord and had about a two finger gap. let me know if you're interested...name your price.

they will most definitely fit your car. these springs are for the 94-97 accord. go ahead and do some research or call around some local shops. and let me know once you've confirmed for yourself.

I just installed the Eibach Sportline Kit onto my 95 Accord EX 2 Door. It is a solid Clean Drop! I have 17' rims on the car and it basically left me with a two finger gap now. They say about 1.8" in the front and 1.7 in the back. It is a beautiful drop. Do not go with the coil overs, you will lose all ride quality. If i could figure out how to post a picture, I would show you one. You could email me and i could send them to you.

I have the Tokico HP set on mine. Its a 1.5" drop and rides very nice. It is the way the car should have been from the factory in my opinion. The set was $450, and if you are going to drop it do it the right way the first time and do springs and struts at the same time or you WILL NOT be happy with no matter what you go with. Good Luck

Here is a pic of mine, makes the car look much more aggressive.

I have Tokico Illumina's with Skunk 2 springs 2.25 drop. By far the best drop I've ever ridden on. Sorry for the huge pic. haven't figures how to make it smaller.

How likely is it that I'll need a camber kit after getting my sportlines?

Camber kit will all depend on how the springs settle. I'm fine with just having an alignment done and my SportLines settled to 2" dropped.

^ same here.....sporlines on AGX's....i LOVE them...ride can but a tad rough on some of the bad roads around here (MI roads are generally horrible condition)....

had an aligment soon after the install, camber is noticable visaully, but nothing drastic, and w/o uber soft tires, its fine in terms of wear...i do have a little toe in the rear (which may or may not be the stock setting)...a bad toe setting will often be the cause for uneven tire wear just as much as camber
