Default Gude/Bullfrog Head package

I'm preparing to invest in Gude/Bullfrog's Head package which swaps the cam, TB, IM, and uses a "high compression" head. Does anyone have experience with this mod? I would like to know what kind of valve clearance and compression the f23 will have afterwards so I'll know how much room i have to raise compression even more by swapping the pistons. I know someone's asking why I don't just ask the company. I have. I'm just looking for someone who's done it so I can get an unbias perspective of what to expect.

Prepare for A LOT of "I heard" horror stories on here. I dont think Ive ran into anyone whose had the package on their accord but everyone puts down Gude.

They make high horsepower claims on their packages but no one has yet to find out really if they do make that much.

You can always be the first though!

Save your money and find the head, intake mani, and tb off another F23 that someone's either blown or thrown out. That's what I did. Then either buy Gude's cam or talk to Web cams to have them grind you one.

What I have: 64mm bore stock F23 TB, Ported and portmatched intake manifold to head, ported/polished head, and head decked .015. Gude cam I bought off of him ^^ and a skunk2 cam gear. All that's left to go on is the head, cam, and cam gear.

i was on another site a couple months back and there was a guy that was in the accord section, he said he had the package on his f22b1 motor and it moved. he didnt have any dyno's or pics of the install so i cant be sure if its true but he said it brought new life to his accord.

aside from all the bullshit, the only real complaint i herd is their customer service sucks ***. and for some ppl me included thats a big part as to why ppl dont buy from them

a guy that posted under the name kentucky accord used that used to post on this board got the gude head package and was very unpleased with it. the ecu program they give with the package was opened with an e-promer and was found out to be the same bin on a stock ecu. there are tons of horror stories on their customer service. the only thing i have heard anything worth while from gude is the cam regrind.

My brother got the Gude package (at a discounted rate, friend of a friend ya know) back in 1996 on a F22B2, it still wasn't worth it. The only thing worth a damn was the cam (haha, just notice raceACCORDingly just said that). How much is he charging now?
