I would do it while youre in there, it only takes a minute or two to do it.

yeah it sucks to do these if thats all u are doing.
here at honda we get paid like 4 hrs to do this since we have to take the tranny out. but only takes about 30 seconds to take the seal out and put the new one in

gonna change my clutch this week. thinking about changing the rear main seal too. can somebody tell me the part # on acuraautomotiveparts.org? i have a 2000 gsr...tia

There is a special driver that is require to push it in. My question is do I really need that special tool? Is it a part I could rent or purchase only? Plus the manual require you to use a feeler gage when finished. Any inputs? thanks
