Hey guys,

I did a search and all I found were threads about putting the window back on track, not replacing the track itself.

My window tracks on my EF are torn off about 3/4 of the way up the door, maybe even more than that. I have a spare door, with good tracks and all the trim. (I also am missing alot of trim, too).

Is it difficult to actually replace the track? I imagine it'd be hard to get to it inside the door.

Pics would be great, if possible!

 

When you refer to tracks do you mean the rubber channel or the steel channel it sits in?

 

Hrmm, the metal part is there, just not the rubber.

I have a complete door, so whatever would be easiest to swap would be best.

 

I'd also like to know, I'm having the same problem.

 

it's easy just unbolt it (the metal scissor track/arms), you might need some 3m window bond for holding the plastic clips to the window depending on the condition.
