Default Can I use a Pressure gauge for a Boost Gauge?

I don't need a boost gauge, just need something to check the boost temporarily for troubleshooting. Any problems, besides the conversion of PSi to Bar, of using a pressure gauge for now?

thanks

Probably won't be able to see vacuum. But I doubt there would be a problem with it.

You can, but it may not survive long because it isn't designed to handle vacuum.

oh, I thought boost was the pressure above atmospheric pressure. You guys are saying vaccum for when it is not boosting?

I can get a Vacuum/ Pressure gauge. I have access to lots of gauges at work, it is just a matter of grabbing the right one.

yea...vac/pressure should work...why do you not need a boost gauge? its always good to have one for safety (spiking issues...and charge pipe leaks)
