vacuum hose diagrams
anyone have a diagram where all the vacuum lines come and go from? i have two nipples on the compressor of my turbo. one at the very and and one closer to the middle. can i tap into my brake booster with a 4 port vacuum manifold and feed them all to this manifold? or any diagrams would be great. i also read somwhere thats its not good to have more than 2 sources feed into 1?
Your question is kinda confusing. I would in fact tap the larger line from the intake manifold to your brake booster for your vacuum block. Make sure it is before your check valve. I would plug up the holes in your compressor housing and run all your vacuum sources from your block (bov, wg, boost gauge, etc.) HTH.
Depends on the car the turbo came from..My turbo has one hole in the compressor housing wich is plugged purposely by me to run the wastegate to manifold vacuum and not the compressor housing. This will allow you usually to have slightly higher boost pressure. My wastegate ran like this opens at exactly .5 bar just like the spring rating.
i need to know where the two nipples off my tial wastegate go? the one on the top and the side. also where should i put a hose from the two nipples on the compressor?????/
