Default Longevity questions.....

I'm just wondering if anyone has had any longevity, wearing out, or blown Omni power coilovers?

I'm kinda wondering how these new coilover companies (Omni, D2, and K-sport) all compare to the big name shock companies (Bilstein, Koni...ect) in terms of longevity.

I'm not really questioning the performance, but rather how long they last. I think it would be easier, and a lot cheaper to replace a blown out Bilstein than a full Omni strut.

i'd say it's too soon to say, they havent been out on the market long enough to be able to tell how long they last.

I'v had mine on for 3 months, put them on exactly as shown in the instructions and both rear have just blown a few days ago. not very impressed by them, great in the corners but a little to stiff for everyday driving on toronto roads and always very noisy (cluncky). waiting for my bilsteins

...which ones did you have? Omni? K Sport? D2? You must have harsh roads up there in Toronto...

I have had my AGX 4x adjustables and GC coilovers for three years (with a serious drop on them) and they still handle the road like it's nobody's business. When these struts finally give up the ghost, I'm gonna be buying myself another set of AGXs!
