I got my CRX, nothing appeard to be major. Just a few spots on the underside of the hood, some rusted boltheads on the header. I just recently discovered the joyious spots in the spare tire well, and perticularly in the left corner. Nothing major here, but from the previous posts I assume grind and bondo\primer? Its a white car, and its the tire well, so it wont matter how it looks.

Just one other little question, I'm mounting the battary box in the trunk (very similar to how it was done on homemadeturbo.com), and I saw rust stains on the INSIDE of the chassis (screw has to go up through it). Is this gonna cause problems down the line? There is no way I can get to it.

It doesn't look TOO bad...

I'd just scrape/sand the rust off, and spray some RustCheck or some kinda rust control undercoat over it.

You may have just seen "stains" on the chassis... it's hopefully not totally rusted through. If you can break pieces of your chassis off with taps of a hammer, then you're in trouble

 

The chassis is totally fine, the stains were inside it, and its solid all the way through all around. I'm not concerned about that.
