17&18 inch rims, what the preferred width and offset?
when putting rims on an nsx and you put 17's in the front and 18's in the back
whats the preferred width and offset of each
and what the range either way you can go before the rims arent going
to fit correctly
not going to lower it to much, maybe a finger gap all around
thanks for any and all help

Front:
215/40-17 tires on 17x7.5 wheels
Rear:
265/35-18 tires on 18x9.5 wheels ('91-93 NSX)
255/35-18 tires on 18x9.0 wheels ('94-05 NSX)
Although you can use either rear size on any year NSX, the rear size indicated is the best match for the traction control for that particular year. Similarly, either rear size tire will fit on either rear wheel width, but the indicated width is the best width for the particular tire size.
Offset depends on the particular wheel and the design of its spokes (so that they clear the brake calipers).

I'm using Volk TE37's in 17x8.5 up front and 18x10.5 in back. I always forget the offset so I'll just the website where I picked them up: http://www.daliracing.com.
Oh and if you lower your NSX at all, the fronts will rub.

That's because you're using tires that are WAY too big, not the proper sizes that I mentioned above like most NSX owners with 17"/18" wheels use.

"Proper" is relative.
Should have said, "if you use the sizes I did, your fronts will rub if you don't remove the wheel liners and pound out the wheel wells with a BUFF hammer."
How's that? I like cake (man, haven't said that in a LONG time).
