I'm pretty sure it's normal. My Skunk2 coilovers do the same thing when I go over a bump or out of a driveway.

Look in between the spoke of your wheel to make sure the spring is seated correctly on the perch. If its not, thats your problem. If it is, spray some WD40 on the upper and lower control arm joints.

my springs creak. I know it is the springs 100%. they creaked so i put greas between the coils that touch....and the creak went away. I pulled the spring out, cleaned off all the grease, put the back in and the creak came back....annoying.

I actually took some wire loom (wire cover) and wraped the top part of the springs and it stoped the noise. It is ghetto, but it has worked for over 4 years

My DZ coilovers creak like crazy in the front. I looked at them many times and I'm sure they are together correctly. I'll try covering them with some vaccum tubing or some grease, thanks for the tip.

Yup. I took my springs out and did it. You really have to work the wrap around the "dead coils" I wraped a long ways down at first, but then i figured out you only have to do the top 3 or 4 coils. Like i said this is pretty ghetto, but that down noise was killing me
