Default NEED Integra Antenna

I am a new person to this forum, I noticed that in the classifieds section their was no posts on where to get parts. I decided to post this thread here, I have a 97 integra gsr and the antenna on it broke off, I was wondering if anyone knows any sites or places where I can buy a new antenna? I live in Lynnwood, Washington, I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out! Also I heard on another post from honda-acura that I can do a S2000 antenna swap! Is that possible on my antenna?

yes its possible to use a s2000 antenna. Try chking the dealer to see how much it'll cost to purchase your antenna. Also try chking ebay if you decide to go s2000 antenna to buy the complete kit.

have you tried acura of lynnwood? i know they're not that great. hahaha. my cousin worked there. and i worked at renton honda. some of the times, you just gotta buy the antenna and they'll install it on the spot cause it's not hard. but if they're slow on work, they'll make you bring it into the shop.

i'm sure there's some thread on here on how to install an antenna or do the s2k antenna swap. i forget the online store that carries oem parts though.

speaking of antenna...this happened on both my old 99LS and my current 00GS-R. After i put in an aftermarket deck Pioneer 7600 (i think thats its the 7600 series), my antenna just stopped working. Even if i turn on or off the car, the antenna never goes up or down. Any ideas why?

Its also really screwing up my radio signal, i hate it

maybe you didn't hookup the trigger wire from the HU to the trigger wire for the antannae.
the HU normally uses a blue wire for a trigger

same thing with my pioneer. i have the deh-960mp the double screen deck. the problem is that the deck doesn't have an antenna wire. so when you wire it up with the plug that goes into the stock plug. you have to wire that antenna wire to another source. i was thinking about wiring it up to the red or yellow one to power it up. but i don't like the antenna up and i don't ever listen to the radio. you can try it and let us know if that works
