90-91 Si seats into STD?
what do you mean the "pans"?? they will bolt up if you have the rails. best way to install them is do the front 2 bolts first, then have a friend sit in the seat and do the back 2.

Are they CRX Si seats or Civic Si seats? Be more specific.
'90-91 Civic Si seats will bolt right into a '90-91 Civic STD. '89 Civic Si seats will not.
CRX seats are not interchangeable with Civic seats.

Im having the same, problem bought one from a 91 si and doesn't come close to fitting in my 88 hatch. I was told in order to make them fit I would have to swap the pan

Seats from a car with door-mounted seat belts will not bolt into a car with pillar-mounted seat belts. Rail swap won't work because the pans are also different IIRC. You could try the pan swap; I have no idea if it works.

I put 88 Crx Si seats into a 91 Civic DX.
I swapped the rails, they required redrilling of the rails themself and they the inside of the seat would bolt up in the civic, but the other side wouldnt so i had to make little plates to relocated the seat over a bit.

Well I got the seats in. They fit perfect after a seat pan swap with my stock STD seats. I can't believe that the pans are different. I figured they would be the same. It took me like 5 hours for the first seat and 1 hour for the second one. The only thing that I don't like is that the seat recline lever is on the opposite side now. But thats a small thing to deal with to have seats that won't stick to my back when I'm sweating
