I can't stand the stock shifter on my '02 accord coupe. I want to put on a short shifter but just found out I need a short shift adapter b/c it's run on a cable system? Can someone please explain how it works and if it's worth it change my shifter? And do I only need to buy a short shift adapter? Or do I still have to buy a new short shifter as well?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!
