Default Engine problems

Hey guys I just wanted some suggestions on this engine problem I have.

Alright so pretty much it has a start and stall problem that is unusually temporary. For instance, I try to start my car and it just wont give in, I get a friend to try and jump start it but it doesnt seem to work.
Two hours later I give it a shot again and it miraculously starts.

I recently changed the battery and sparkplug so that cant be it... also the car seems to always stall and start around the same times... well if that means anything...

Alright, well let me know what you think is the problem. Actually I could have the car checked at Japtech Honda Repairs but they overcharge for it, so maybe ill just save the few hundred ;p and also when I get it serviced there, another problem arises a few weeks later...

Oh yea, does anybody know a website that shows some tips on quick fixes (if thats possible) on the engine?

Sup Jay, I have the same problems. I try not to take it to a shop because I cant trust anyone locally. Heres what I learned...

With battery, alternator, & ignition components all in good condition
the problem could be one of these..

Starter: Its old, the brushes are bad and theres flakes of metal. Most of the time, you can tap the starter with a tool (i use the OE jack hook or lug wrench) to shake off the flakes inside the starter, and then start it. Its best to have someone tap it for you while you turn the ignition.

Fuel Pressure Setting: Ive always had bad starts with low and high fuel pressure settings. I try to keep it near 40psi (reading is when vaccum line is disconnected from FPR). Believe it or not, half a psi of fuel pressure will make a difference in performance, and start ups.

Main Relay: Im gonna get one soon, since I think this is a problem with older models and the fact that a bad Main relay can give you the same symptoms as a bad ignitor or coil. A main relay usually fails in warm weather (its summer there already). Ive had hard startups here and there, but not enough to really cause me any concern, I dont want to wait until I cant even start my car at all (even when I let it cool down).
