Though it looks like an A/C bracket - front driver side engine mount (which I am in need of).

P73 should fit the R

Its an A/C bracket as Ed stated above.

I guess parts just mysteriously appear in your garage

if you have the big ole square thing with the red top that the bracket bolts onto lying in your garage, i'll give you $50 for it!

that is definitely a type r ac bracket and lower front engine mount. only the type r ones come solid like that with no hole in the middle. always wanted to know why, any of you type r guys know why?

It's the A/C bracket, and that pulley is not for PS, it's the tensioner for the A/C belt.

i always figured that the p72 one with the big *** holes in it would be lighter but just not strong enough to handle the more torque a C5 makes over the C1 i think

I had one of those aluminum Civic A/C mounts once and was told the ITR compressor wouldn't fit with that piece. FWIW
