ANY BRAND 10-W30 THE KEY IS TO REPLACE OIL + FILTER EVERY 3000 MILES , ENGINE WILL LAST MANY MANY MILES

10-30? I use 5-30 as according to the label i saw on the motor. which is better? btw, i would go with mobile 1 synthetic blend for the mileage vehilces.

The use of 10w30 and 5w30 depends on where you live. 5w30 is used in colder climates and 10w30 used in warmer climates.

For the oil part as people said above use 10w30 and change 3000 miles then you will be good.

And what about that sticker by the engine (or the fuse box or air intake or...) that suggests you change the oil every 7000 miles. Do you think it's still better to change it twice as frequently as the sticker suggests?

amsol is supposedly one of the best oil's around, which is kinda hard to find and somewhat expensive from what I have found locally. I also have used royal purple blend... great stuff too...

royal purple is an OKAY engine oil, but whatever you do DO NOT waste the money on the Synchro-Max for transmissions, bad stuff not worth the cost

that doesnt say change the oil every 7000 it says change the oil filter every 7000, but that is wrong, the filter should be changed whenever the oil is changed.
