Where do I get the Koni Yellows?
I wanted to know specifically where i can get the "Koni yellows." Do they happen to be named as the KONI SPORT KIT, that sells at local automotive stores by any chance..........HELP!
Visit the sponsor's forum:

Ebay, search for Koni Yellow Sport (you should see a few sets for around $500depending on your application).
There is a Koni Sport Coilover kit (that I have) that uses Sport (yellow) shocks with adjustable sleeves and springs, but that will be more expensive than buying a set of 4 Koni Sport shocks. So I am not sure what 'kit' is sold at your local automotive stores.

Yes, you could buy a Koni Sport adjustable coilover kit (which usually sells new for close to $1000). It comes with 4 Koni sport shocks with sleeves already attached, and 4 red Koni springs (spring rates are in the 300lb range). I think it might be slightly cheaper to get Koni yellow shocks and then order Ground Control coilover sleeves and springs in whatever spring rate you like (with Koni specific perches) ~$850 total or so.
If you just want Koni shocks with non-adjustable springs, it should cost you around $750, so I would just invest in GC coilover sleeves/springs and spend the extra $100. If you PM the guy from GSC motorsport (the sponsor link), he should be able to give you a quote for a 92-95 civic setup.

Just give Tom a call at Lightning and ask him what the current price is. (I don't remember what I paid) I'm not sure if there is a "honda-tech discount", but it doesn't hurt to ask.

The Koni "yellows" are actually properly called Koni Sport and are painted yellow. The regular shock part numbers form your car are 8041-1152 Sport front and 8041-1153 Sport rear and I expect that you will find them in the $125 each range. These are the normal Koni Sports without springs and they are the standard parts that go with the Ground Control coil-overs that you mention.
Also available is the Koni 1150 coil-over kit which is part number 1150-5006-1 for your car. These are slightly different shocks with their own tight sleeve system and come with springs in the kit package.

Contact Redshift Motorsports. I believe they're a HT sponsor and the price is $476 with free shipping.

There are the normal Sport units and there are the Neuspeed SP3s made for several Hondas with a few more spring perch circlip options and a 20mm rebound stop/droop limiter. Also the short bodied, rce valved 8041 RACE untis are yellow too. Most people who talk about Koni yellows are talking about Koni Sports but it is better to call it Sport, SP3 or RACE which defines it further.
