Default Finally a Bubble on the front tire

With all the pot holes i hit, yesterday i found a bubble on my right front tire.

Went to the tire shop, got the front two replaced. FALKEN $78/each, (different brand than what I have on the rear tires.)...

didn't get an alignment... now at 70mph, the steering wheel shakes a bit...

My rear tires still got threads left.

what you think, alignment a must or/and replace the rear tires also?

Out of round or out of balance tire. Could be either.

My mom had an out-of-round tire, drove her nuts for a while until it was replaced with another new one.

I watched the guy did the balance, and I think he did a good job on it.

Both are brand new tires.. out of round possibility??

Well considering you said u hit a pothole, there is the possiblility that you bent your wheel. But my bets are on alignment issues.

I just got new tires last week and had the same issues (shaking after 60-70mph). Went back and had them rebalance the tires--problem solved. They don't always get it right the first time...

In your case, though, it might also be a bent wheel and alighnment, like others have said.

If you're hitting potholes hard, then probably your rim is bent. You can balance a bent rim, but doesn't mean it will roll properly.

Check and see if your rim is bent. This was my case when I hit a huge boulder with my Rota.
