Default h22 with H2B adapter plate install

i was wondering if anyone has purchased this H2B adapter plate and completed the install in an EK. please list/comment on the process to install it (ie. the ease/difficultness). any advice or reccomendations? anything on the purchase of the H2B adapter plate? good or bad service/pricing? which mounts were used? any clearance problems (ie. hood or firewall)? can i still retain a/c and p/s? will there be enough room for a turbo and an intercooler?

sorry for all the questions. i've been following the H2B thread closely and i know that someone is doing this for an EF but like i said before, i'm looking for someone who has installed it in an EK.

btw, which b-series tranny would you guys reccommend for street use? the car will be a daily driver and a weekend warrior. the goal is to have about 500-550whp turbo'd. it will be put in an EK sedan and low 12's is the goal. the car will have a full system and leather seats. it will also retain a/c and p/s. i was thinking of a gsr tranny with an LS fifth. anyone with any other suggestions?

thanks in advance!!

anyone with any new info?

also, which rad was used? what hoses from what car? will a t3/t4 get me the power i'm looking for? any boosted h22 owners have a block guard? is it worth it? can a stock type-s head handle that much power?

sorry for all the questions again.........i'm just making sure i get all the proper info before i start this project. i'm hoping i can get this installed and running (a stock h22 with the h2b kit) over a weekend and the turbo parts will come soon after.

thanks in advance!!

a t3/t4 will starve on a h22 at low boost even you will need something along the lines of a gt30r to get to a 550 hp goal at least as far as a type s h22 i think the head is the least of your worries when boosting it this motor is a post 95 h22 block which means it has the shitty fiber reinforced sleeves you will need to sleeve it to boost it at all really let alone the forged pistons and what not youd need for the hp goal you have id say the head is the strong point of that motor although id have it worked over as well for that goal. the type s motor is a great motor for an na application its just not made for boost.

the sleeves will handle it. Its the ring lands that will go, guaranteed! The piston cant take much boost over 6-8 psi...

btw, y did u revive a 4 year old thread!?!?
