Question d15b swap
OK so im using my stock si harness with a odb0 to obd1 jumper harness and the jumper for the dizzy. My question is what to do with the injectors can I just use my obd 0 ones or do I need to re wire them for obd1? ecu is a p28 or I have a p08

You can use the OBD0 injectors, but ya gotta keep the injector resistor box... I would rather use the OBD1 injectors though. Use the p08... its the right ecu for the engine.

Opening time is a little different for the peak hold and saturation injectors, so match the injectors to the tune. But if you're gunna retune it... guess it doesn't matter

To use OBDO injectors on an OBD1 system you "MUST" use a resistor box, due to the fact the OBD2 injector are High inpedence. Using OBDO (saturated) injector with a OBD2 (non-saturated) ECU will cause damege to the ecu.
all you have to do to change to the obd1 injectors is connect all five wires on the resister box and remove the box. the yellow wire is a 12 volt switched power that can power the new injectors ( four red wires )
oh, cant use 0bd1 injectors on a obd0 ecu. im pretty sure it will damage the injector drivers

I've been thinking about this too, but i don't see how it would... could you please give me a detailed explination to how switching 5.5v+ instead of 12v+ would damage the ECU?
Note: i'm talkin obd2 ecu running obd0 injectors.
I don't think the amps are that much higher on the 12v+ to cause the paths on the ECU board to heat up on a OBD0 ecu either. I've never known anyone to damage their ECU by running OBD1 injectors on an OBD0 setup.
