Quick koni yellow question
I know they make 3 and 5 way height adjustable koni yellows or sports. My question is, do the 3 ways go as low as the 5 way? Also anyone have pics of h&r or neuspeed sport springs on konis on the lowest setting?
Yes the 2 & 3 position Koni Sports go just as low as the 5 position Neuspeed versions. The extra grooves on the Neuspeeds are actually between the regular Koni Sports grooves.
94eg!
That's an interesting fact!
However I have to ask how you know this? Have you seen them side by side?
I'm not trying to be pissy, so please don't take the question wrong.

I think that there's a post (or 20) around here where CRX Lee mentions this fact.

It's true. I cannot seem to find the posts I've seen with the comparison photos, but I did a ton of research on the two shocks. I found that the perch didn't go lower than the standard yellows, it only offered another step between stock & lowered. The nuespeeds also include the 5 positions on both front & rear (lower/mid/stock/mid/high). The konis only have 3 positions on the rear (low/stock/high), and two on the front (low/stock). They might be worth it if you don't want coilovers..
The nuespeeds also have the 20mm droop limiter that IMO didn't serve any worth while purpouse. If you plan on running extended upper mounts, or lowering the shock into the fork, the droop limiter could hurt your suspension stroke. It may also make it a bit harder to install lowering springs (it may require a spring compressor)...
