Well ok here is the thing i was thinkin about sellin my integra, but i donno... but the question is if i kept it i want 13's if not lower.. i have 216,000 miles and i have had some quotes on rebuilds and all that but i was wonderin what i should do.. this whole import thing is new to me.. sorry.. but help me out thanks

I'm assuming that you mean you want a 13 sec car or lower? Is that what you meant? I would suggest looking for another motor with less miles on it, then buy it, and spend some time rebuilding it yourself, get performance internals and machine work done to it, and have someone else put it all together. If you were to do it yourself, you would learn a lot, and would have something to be proud of. But thats just my opinion. And you would know what was actually done to the car, and not what someone else told you they did, when they really didn't. I plan on doing this with my 95 LS. I'm going to get another motor, and rebuild it myself with high end parts, and put it in. I will save some money, and know what has been done to my motor. Good Luck

 

Have you even done a compression test yet? Leak down? You haven't even narrowed your goals down but to say you want to run 13's.

 

get a new motor, build it up a little bit so it can handle higher boost, and put a turbo on that biatch...
turbo is probably the fastest cheapest way to get high hp numbers.

 

Well that is what i have planned to do.. buy another motor and do it all my self.. i dont plan on doin anything to this motor... i know that... and by the way compression was fine... anyone have another motor out there????

I have a jdm GSR motor i will selling soon, it is currently in a civic sedan and running great. I will be taking it out and putting my built GSR turbo motor from my integra in there. The GSR motor im selling has 80k miles and a rebuilt tranny.
