Code 91 and vtec??

Code 91 and vtec??

Does anyone know if you are throwing a code 91 will it mess with vtec? I have Code 91 being thrown and my vtec will rarely kick in anymore. On my B16 motor in an 97 civic hatchback.

91 is an evap code and SHOULDNT i could be wrong, mess with vtec. check your oil level as well.
