can you tell me wrong with this?
1) you need to resize the pic.
2) you need to take the wheel off to see what is going on
3) you need to stop hitting curbs
4) be a little more detailed on what happened
5) if you can figure out what's wrong, you should not bee working on it

That would be the very best case... worst case is the subframe is bent along with various other suspension arms. Search for "the cone" on the ITR forum. Owner hit a curb and bent the rear subframe.

that looks like what my car looked like after the back swung out and slammed into a curb. On my car the rear subframe needed to be fixed and the whole right side. It was 2k to fix the damange. Probablyr the upper control arm from what im thinking...but the rear doesn't have a uppper control arm so maybe the rear lower control arm is bent.

you need to take your car to a body shop.
what else do you want us to tell you? telling you just to replace the upper control arm is not going to fix this...
you also have damage to the front (look at the fender ppl).

my bad does have a rear upper control arm if you call that one piece a control, but if thats broken its not going to keep the wheel bent like that is it. Take it to a shop...only way to find out whats wrong...you cannot fix it unless your a autobody guy...and from it looks like if you can't figure it out now, you wont late ron your own.
Do you have collision insurancce? If so, call your agent. If not then maybe its time to rethink your car lending policy. Also your friend should be paying for this!!
Damn that sux, Suspension stuff is costly, and subframe damage is even more costly. A friend did something similar to this in his maxima and it cost around 1500 to be repaired, im sure a R will be quite more costly. Only thing to know is to take it to a shop and see if it can be saved.
As long as I dont have to take out any more Metal Gears

it looks like u have to replace the upper rear arm, as well as the lower one. Hopefully the entire rear trailing arm is not bent , otherwise u are going to have to get a new one. But it looks like u can replace the parts yourself.
you can get everything you need at NAPA autoparts for exactly $26.35 (including tax).
what do you want us to tell you? Make some phone calls to local body shops, autopart stores. I'll agree with BrianZ, if you can't even start to figure out what's wrong with it, i don't think you should be working on it.
