Default Wastegate popping problems

I am new to this forum and searched but still could not find anything on the issue i am having. Recently when i boost to a full 15psi my wastegate pops every 2 seconds creating a jerky ride and immediate loss of power. However it does not always do this and this is why i am confused. Could it be an old spring? and is this situation dangerous?

Hmmmm how does that work? he replaced the cap and rotor on his ignition? how did that effect the wastegate? unless it was a missfire.....

Im pretty sure hes saying he found out it wasnt the wastegate that was causing the problem afterall. Hes saying check that first because it might not be the wastegate. Also try posting in the forced induction forum.

yeah it was missfiring it was poping so bad that it would shoot flames out of the dump tube.. we thought of everthing cracked manifold, over fueling, bad tuning ov erboosting ect. ect. but after a tune up it took care of the problem.. the rotor had a flat spot in it hope this helps

Yea its poping so hard and shoting flames out of the back so im sure its the ignition because plug gapping is right on and no detination so im going to try to replace the rotor.
