A swap from a stock D15 auto to a B16A2 manual? With four people that have much knowledge on Hondas and all engine work.

 

I'm going to guess 6 hours.

 

Longer than it would take with two competent people. I hate tripping over people, I usually like everyone to get out from under my feet and let me do my thing. One extra set of hands for setting the engine helps. I'd say a day for the whole thing provided you don't get held up by parts needed last min.

i think u guys can do it 3 1/2 hours if u drink NOS energy drink so u can get a jdm boost expecially since u guys are honda wizards

 

Well my friends are doing it with me and I'm just asking for sake of curiosity simply because I'm just beginning to work with Hondas. They estimated it'd take the weekend to have everything done and working properly and making sure everything is right.

anyways, 4 people is too many for a swap IMO, If u really need help, a second person is good.

 

I plan to do an engine swap in the future... and my brother said we should just DIY downstairs... I asked him how long would that take? and he said, confidently, one day if you dont slack off or noob it. so I'm guessing a whole day will be enough.

That stuff is a rip off, you can drink Toulene for half the price.

 

I wonder how much time the auto to manual swap alone will take.

I also agree that four people to do the swap is entirely too many people.

 

Thats the part I'm somewhat worried about, the Auto-Manual swap.

 

did 2 swaps....itr to cx into an ITR
b16 hatch to itr engine.....in 5.5 hours with 2 people!!
