RADIUS ROD
My hatch was driving funny on the freeway it would drive straight then it would pull to the left. I would correct to the right then it would go right. I jack it up on stand and seen the problem the radius rod was loose. Well the part conected to the lower control arm. Sorry my Question is where would i find a good repalcement. i call the local autostores no clue. If i go to the junk yard what do i look for in the radius rod to make sure it dosent happen again.
Let me see if i can explain this. The radius rod connected to the lower control arm, the bolts are fine and tight. The actual rod that has the two holes were the bolts go thru is, how shall i say this the openings are bigger than normal. ITs like their is space for play, and damit its playing. the other side is fine two holes two bolts that go thru perfect. Almost looks like its been rusted away so i need the actual rod.
My reccomendation would be don't put loctite in it
It's gonna be hell itself to try to take it out when you need to. Just get a new one. Maybe after the years, the holes deteriorated to **** and they got bigger.
