Default question on ecu swap

I got a h22 turboed and I'm using a p72 chiped ecu they told me that the p72 was easier to chip so now everything is running fine exept I cannot feel the vtec kiking in or hear it.I'm using a vafc do you guys think that maybe the vafc is not working or do I have to change some pins in for the p72 ecu?

if your using a chipped p72 im assuming with chrome or uberdata or something (im using p72 w uberdata) you should have no need for a vafc at all.. thats the point of chipping the ecu.. id say ditch it!
