need to know what type of paint to use on taillights

tried 2 types of paint but cant get them to look like this

Stay OEM yo, red and white look much better. I don't know why you bother with that.

For sure man. Before you do something like that, seriously ask yourself if those actually look better than OEM red/white tails....or if it just looks "kinda cool."

that's not paint, it's smoke tail light film.

What's wrong with OEM stock anyways? There's a reason why those lights are red and white. Know what DOT means?

The paint is NightShades by VHT.
I personally think it looks better when you "smoke" the parts that are not red.

yes the clear part is what i want black and its not for my car mine is green im doin it for a friend its a black car and i already did the black housing on the headlights and black housing on the turn signal i was goin to do the same thing to the tailights but didnt feel like it
