Slump in floorboard
Ive got a 93 hatch and there is a dip where it looks to be the floorboard is giving way on the drivers side. I've seen this on a couple of hondas and wonder what you all have done to fix this problem.
Also on a side note im replacing the carpet and wonder which option is better to go with factory replacement (work at a honda stealership and get discount on parts) or go with a aftermarket setup and if so which brand has the best fitment and quality. thanks

That is the only reason the floor would sag. When we worked for Honda my business partner got new carpet for his hatch. That is the only way to go...OEM. It even comes with new door sills sewn in and the whole thing snaps together perfectly in minutes. My experience with aftermarket carpet is that they suck and don't fit for ****.
