Where does the cd changer fit in a 98 civic.
Stupid question I know, I have a bunch of honda 6 disk CD changers for honda's kicking around the garage that I have pulled for bigger installations. But my fiance has a little sister that wants a CD changer in here 98 civic, car has stock stereo and has the cd key so I figure that I should have a honda changer that should fit in rather easily. Thing is that I have no clue where it mounts, let alone where the cable that I plug the darn thing into.
So is it like most honda's bolted in under the rear seat shelf in the trunk. Or like my insight hideen way up in some crazy little hole?
Also do I need to buy the cable that connects to the deck or is it factgory installed on the car.

its not prewired, you need to buy the cable to run from the factory head unit to the trunk. you may also need the bracket that holds the changer in place under the rear deck panel
